Bobbi's Brownie Is Beautiful

I received my Brownie Shimmer Brick Powder by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. As you know, I recently bought the Apricot for spring, but the Brownie is for summer. It was gorgeous on my skin. I put a little on when I got the office on Saturday, yes I had to work. I was able to get my yoga on, so I came in the office, washed my face with Dove Cleansing Cloths, added moisturizer and nothing but the Brownie Brick. (Uh-huh, I do keep my desk fully stocked of all the things I will need at work after working out). All I can say is, I LOVE BOBBI BROWN'S MAKEUP!!!! I love makeup and anything to make me feel my motto, "All About The Pretty," but Bobbi truly makes me feel that way. I tell you I could sell Bobbi to Bobbi. The great thing about them is you can use each strip on your eyes as well. Just sweep a shade onto your lid for an instance pick-me-up. I have been busy with work, therefore, long nights makes for sagging eyes. I make sure to put on "good face" so I at least look refreshed when the caffeine stops working. All I need are the essentials for a tired face: concealer, blush, Bobbi Brown brick over my blush, a dab on the nose, the chin, add a lip gloss (I can never forget lip gloss) and voila. I look rested and pretty. I also received the lovely Laura Mercier Bronzed Bronzing Book. (http://www.lauramercier.com/products/colour/palettes/face/bronzing_book_bronzed/) I like to think of my face as a palette and I am the artist. Since spring and summer are great travel times, maximizing space in your luggage is a must for your makeup. NEVER, and I mean NEVER put your makeup in checked luggage. (1) your luggage might get lost and (2) it may melt. I always bring my makeup in my carry-on. Another positive for the Laura Mercier Books or the NARS palettes (which are equally impressive because they have lips, eyes, cheeks and his GLORIOUS multiple sticks are the fact that they travel well (http://www.narscosmetics.com/acb/stores/1/Artist-Palette-C60_category_4.aspx). They come in numerous shades. You can take one and your whole weekend is in one kit. I love to play with my makeup with my hands and these are great. If you have travel brushes use those as well. I find the travel brushes at Sephora are the best bang for your buck. I can't wait for my trip in August. I will need the much needed break, but until then I will look at the pictures of the Greek Isles I have pasted to my office walls and know that I am working toward my trip. As always, May the Lip Gloss Be With You

May I ask what moisturizer you use?
Or if you have any suggestions
    for someone with combo skin?

What kind of concealer do you use? I am a brown cutie with very dry skin. I use the Bobbi tinted moisturizer - which I looooove - and was wondering what you would recommend for the concealer.
